Welcome to the Happy Woofer Web site. We hope that you have been able to find any information about us and our dogs that you might need to choose the right puppy for you.
My wife and I have been involved with animals for most of our lives. My wife, Diane, has been breeding dogs for around 32 years. Her experience with dogs has enabled us to specially choose each and every one of dams and sires for their individual personalities and breed characteristics. We are very proud of not only the quality of the pups but also the state of the art facility we have for our dogs to live in. Each of our animals is our pets. We know their names, their likes and dislikes and each are played with daily. The Happy Woofer feels that healthy happy parents make happy healthy puppies.
The Happy Woofer, specialize in small to medium breeds. Some of our favorite terriers are the West Highland White Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Boston Terrier and the Miniature Pinscher. In the working class, we have the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Bassett Hound and the Shetland Sheepdog; also known as the Sheltie. Our toy breeds include the Chihuahua, Dachshund, Maltese, Papillion and Pomeranian as well as others. For families with allergies; our Toy Poodle, Miniature Poodle and Bichon Frise would be perfect as they are dander free and hypo-allergenic. Some of our more exotic breeds would include the Pug, Shih Tzu, Japanese Chin and Pekingese. Last but not least, we would like to mention our Cocker Spaniel and for the active household, the Jack Russell Terrier; aka, Parsons Terrier.
We know that choosing a puppy is a life time commitment not only in the monetary sense but also a commitment of the heart so we hope to provide a puppy of the highest standards so that you can enjoy each other for a long time.
